finally america

you know, it's about time... i know we're getting there, but the UK's been way ahead of America in terms of the media and tolerance for homosexuality. most of the more popular LGTB movies are British, as are the shows. like Torchwood and Tipping the Velvet (both great, by the way). but America's coming along... like in Cold Case, a while back, they had an episode with homosexuality in it. and then of course there was Brokeback Mountain. but look at how much of a shock that was for some people...

anyway.

and then there's Billy Elliot! everyone should watch this movie. it's so sweet.
